This September, we brought the world of plant-based, sustainable travel to Canada’s biggest vegan festival. At VegTO Fest, I was sharing how you can explore the globe with your values intact, from cultural adventures close to home to luxury wellness escapes abroad.
✨ Featured partner: Palmaïa – The House of AïA ✨
I’ve partnered with Palmaïa to bring you an exclusive GRAND Adventures package that blends mindful luxury with real connection — to the land, the sea, and yourself.

and every meal after will be fully plant-based, gourmet, and made with local love.
Palmaïa isn’t just another all-inclusive. It’s a regenerative retreat where your footprint is light, your body is nourished, and your days are designed for discovery.
Imagine an oceanfront sanctuary in Mexico where every detail is rooted in sustainability, from gourmet plant-based cuisine to daily wellness rituals. Palmaïa is more than a resort, it’s a regenerative travel experience, and I can’t wait to show you why it’s one of my favourite partners for soul-nourishing getaways.
Palmaïa is a concept that recognizes that the healing process is a journey, not a destination. And that to travel this journey we call life, one needs to balance body, mind, and soul.
You'll find Palmaïa strategically situated at the tail end of the most beautiful beach in the Riviera Maya and surrounded by more than 988 acres of undisturbed jungle and a kilometre of pristine beach.
🌿 Palmaïa is the first resort of its kind offering 4 globally inspired restaurants, 24-hour in-suite dining, a taco food truck, and more!
🌊 All 234 terraced oceanfront suites are meticulously designed animal-product-free and offer biodegradable amenities made with locally procured essential oils.
🧘♀️ Daily nature-immersed activities allow such as yoga, guided meditations, pre-hispanic rituals, sound healing sessions, cacao ceremonies, holistic nutrition workshops and more.
This all-inclusive retreat is designed to immerse you in nature, wellness, and relaxation, offering an experience that feels both exclusive and deeply rejuvenating. Every suite is oceanfront, providing stunning views and a peaceful ambiance.
Unlike traditional resorts, Palmaïa focuses on holistic wellness, offering daily yoga, meditation, sound healing, and other transformative practices, all included in the stay. With no loud entertainment, guests can fully unwind, whether by the infinity pools, at the jungle spa, or exploring the natural cenotes on the property.
There are no buffets (only elevated à la carte dining) and no single-use plastics, reinforcing a commitment to sustainability.
Thoughtfully prepared dishes with high-quality ingredients.
Room service: Available 24/7
234 suites with epic oceanview views!
Unique rooms like family master suites (includes a fully separate bedroom and bathroom for kids with a bunk bed), or meditation suites (which has a separate private meditation room within).
The stunning beach is wide, walkable, and breathtaking, perfect for moments of serenity. It's quite private as the last hotel in Playacar, with turquoise water, and a walkable shoreline.
There are also onsite cenotes (natural freshwater sinkholes) to explore.
You can enjoy service at the pools and beach.
With no music, activities, or typical resort-style entertainment at the pools or beach, Palmaïa is not ideal for social travellers.
The quiet, introspective atmosphere may not appeal to those looking for a lively social scene.
